Building Fisherrow Brewery:

Saturday October 16th 1999

The steel which was sent for rolling yesterday arrived back this morning and work started on the outlet on the copper - all that hot air has to go somewhere! We're debating whether to build a pizza oven or an integral frying pan on it. Ian White, a committee member from the local branch of CAMRA paid a visit - purely business, you understand, before he and David went off to watch Hearts draw with St. Johnstone. Kevin was left welding on his own when Iain and Karen went off to the Museum of Flight to watch the Spitfire flypast marking the 60th anniversary of it first going into action. Not shown on these photos is the painting of the loo walls - they're now a fetching shade of yellow.
